Low-resolution images, also known as blurred images, are often caused when multiple lines that were present when the image was taken are made visible as a single line. Once these lines are concentrated together, sharpening with image editing software will exaggerate the outlines, but will not restore the lines as they should be. Using its unique arithmetic algorithm, Re:Na® advanced resolution restoration can restore the original lines one by one. It improves the resolution and restores images to their true form.

Sharpening
The outlines are exaggerated so that they appear clearer, but the resolution is not improved and the texture of the feathers is not restored.

Unsharp masking
There is partial improvement to the resolution, but the feathers are exaggerated at the color boundaries and not restored.

Re:Na® advanced resolution restoration
Improves resolution rather than exaggerating contours, so the texture of the feathers and color boundaries are restored correctly.
