Concept

Changing the world with Visibility Refinement.

Making visual data visible in its true form—we call this “visibility refinement.”
At Logic & Design, we developed our patented visibility refinement technology based on the concept of providing automatic,
real-time image processing with minimal intervention to make hidden details in visual data visible under various challenging factors, including low or excessive light, fog, haze, out-of-focus areas, and resolution issues.

Our philosophy is based on the idea that expanding our technology into image recognition serving various industries can contribute to safer, more secure, and more comfortable lives for all.
We are committed to pioneering a future where visibility refinement transforms the world.

Our Technology

Visibility refinement driven
technologies

LISr®image distillation and Re:Na®advanced resolution restoration are our two core technologies,
offering solutions to the unseen in various industries.

Image distillation technology: Expanding visibility
LISr®

The ratio between the brightest and darkest values that a camera can recognize is known as dynamic range. In many cases, image degradation is the result of narrow dynamic range. This includes instances of "clipping” (crushed shadows/blown-out highlights). LISr®technology uses a special algorithm to widen this narrowed range, resulting in a clearer image with uniform contrast and more faithful reproduction of the image data recorded by the camera.

Advanced resolution restoration: Restoring visibility
Re:Na®

Re:Na®technology reproduces original data in high-resolution by decomposing and recalculating the frequencies in the original image to eliminate image quality degradation caused by factors such as out-of-focus areas, camera shake, and a lack of resolution. Any number of reasons can make it impractical to shoot or read images at high-resolution. Re:Na®is a cost-effective way to restore the inherent features of such images in real time.

Our Business Model

Through our two technologies, we offer real-time data processing without the need to adjust complicated settings. To enable our technologies to be easily tailored to diverse scenarios and use cases, we provide a range of products across multiple formats, including hardware, software, cloud services, microchips, and built-in sensors. We actively develop proprietary and jointly-developed products as we strive to spread the use of visibility refinement technology.

Hardware

Real-time, high-speed processing can be performed by simply connecting to video equipment and other devices, without needing to alter existing systems.

Software

Video and still image processing can be performed using a computer (processing performance depends on computer specifications).

Cloud-based

Cloud-based video and still image processing from any location, regardless of computer specifications.

Microchips

Microchips can be incorporated into existing systems to function as an integrated product.

SDK/API

We also offer SDK (software development kits) and API (application programming interfaces).

Solution Field

A trusted provider in the fields such as medicine,
we deliver wide-ranging solutions for various visibility refinement applications.

Our proprietary technologies—LISr®image distillation and Re:Na®advanced resolution restoration—work together to reproduce obscured or degraded visual data. By applying visibility refinement to the original captured data, these technologies fulfill an invaluable role in driving cutting-edge development across various fields. With a focus on medical, security, infrastructure and life science fields, we are creating a foundation for the use of visibility refinement technology in all areas that are required to achieve safety, security, and comfort in daily life, and contributing to the improvement of people’s quality of life.

Media Coverage

Watch the video to see
how our algorithm neither creates nor manufactures images

Lisr®and Re:Na®are both technologies that they process only the recorded still image or video data that already exists. This is completely different from technologies used to create and manufacture images. Our algorithms use only the information available in the visual data to reproduce the true form of still images and videos meaning the results meet the standards for admissibility in a court of law.
